That folder is inside the LMS cache but dont fiddle with it. If you were to do a clear and rescan the d54b427 bit may very well get removed. The error is as stated LMS cant resize an cover image correctly. If you can identify which ones they are you can download fresh from internet. Im not sure of an easy way to identify the cover except by interrogating the database directly. The d54b427 will be recorded against the track in question in the tracks table.
