I cannot see my mapped network drive on my LMS. I read somewhere that LMS should be run as a service to see a mapped network drive.
No, quite the contrary is true: a service can't see mapped drives. You'd have to use the full path like \\server\share\folder, and the user running the service must have access to that share.
