Why not just use Genre? Let's take Led Zepplin I as an example and tag Genre as "Rock;Favorite". With this approach you can then go to Genre in My Music, select Genre = Favorite and list however you want, Albums, Album Artist, etc. This way you don't have to have a favorites folder and Led Zepplin I can live under Led Zepplin with the rest of their albums.
