I felt it was quiet trivial so didn't want to push it but as you point out this doesn't really address my issue. I like to crossfade between tracks so have this set up and assumed this was causing the sleep fade; but it's not. I noticed that the fading was longer than the 5 seconds crossfade I have specified. Thanks @kidstypike for the link to the previous post which confirms sleep fade is a fixed 1 min. It would be nice to have the ability to switch it off or make it a variable. 1 minute is a long time if you want the player to sleep rather than you. I suspect 1 minute might be too short if you want to actually get some Zzzzzz yourself.
