No way of doing this except by physically amalgamating the files but you
know that. You can however *exclude* from a random mix by tagging with
an "exclude" genre and then setting random mix to ignore files tagged
that way.

I have to say I never intentionally use shuffle and I wish I could turn
off the existence of the icon so that I don't accidentally enable it.
