My Raspberry Pis, and other Debian systems, all have at least two
partitions. The first, boot, partition is typically rather small. So
your description doesn’t really make sense to me. But perhaps I am
misinterpreting what you have actually done.

Why not just make a fresh Raspberry Pi system on your similar SD Card ?
