I am also a Fedora user who likes to keep up with the latest releases and has been dealing with this Perl versioning issues for a while. My solution was to move to the Docker version of LMS. I did this around the time Fedora 35 was released - the odd-numbered releases usually bring new Perl versions - and things have been fine ever since.
