I got the PM and all looks OK. The all zeros MAC may be a red herring - but it doesn't look "normal" and I think it is worth chasing down - if only to eliminate it as an issue. Interesting about the older posts where a zeroes MAC might indicate a network that wasn't ready. An observation, the "ip addr" commands shows that the loopback interface (aka localhost) has a MAC address of 00:00:00:00:00.
