I eventually chucked in the towel with my Transporter. Nothing I did with anything restored access to Tidal.
So I bought a Cambridge Audio CXN V2. Turned it on, and firstly it grabbed the network and automatically updated the firmware. Tidal, Qobuz built in - so it found Tidal in another second or so. Then in another second or two gave access to hundreds of radio stations, organized by genre.
