I suggested an enhancement to Material Skin, but to add that feature, it would require a change to the DSTM implementation. The change seems like it might be worth implementing? At least worth asking the question.
Currently for DSTM, there is one setting which selects the mix type and/or disables it. The request would be to bifurcate these into separate choices. First, enable/disable DSTM as a toggle. Then select the mix type from a list of choices. This would allow DSTM to be toggled on/off in the skin UI, and when turned on, it would retain the preferred default mix type. At least for me, I rarely deviate from the MIP mixes. If many are like me and only use 1 mix type, then this may add usability.
