Yes, I just viewed file tags for a recently tagged album and confirmed that the tags are indeed available from the scanner. Examples include: LABEL: Rough Trade RELEASETYPE: album VERSION: (CD - ATO #825419) All of the above would be great to be able to incorporate in LMS - LABEL to enable browsing albums by record label - RELEASETYPE to be able to present albums by type - VERSION to be able to distinguish between multiple versions of the same album If exposing tags the scanner has pulled is not a mammoth undertaking I think there's an opportunity to significantly enhance how users can explore/navigate their music via LMS. I'd be happy to discuss? *'puddletag' (http://puddletag.sourceforge.net/)* - now packaged in most Linux distributions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ audiomuze's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33613 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117164 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
