I can now connect to the SQN from SQ2 and it looks like traffic is coming in but there's no audio.
It does work for me. Takes a few seconds to fill the buffer, but then there's sound (tested some Shoutcasts).
When a European SQN server comes online I'll be buying the 'box...
Why wait for a european server? I'm in Switzerland, and the existing servers are working fine. There is some lag when navigating the channels, but that's not seriously hindering me from using it.
