music from various different radio stations at least 3~6 times in an
evening, and would like to troubleshoot if it's my router, the radio
station, the SB2, or SQN that's the cause of the problem.

It sounds like it's not the buffer size (which is closer to 8MB!)
rather a problem with your Internet connection being able to sustain
the bandwidth of the radio station. Do the stations in question
work if you use a computer-based player (like iTunes) to play them?
