As a potential squeezebox buyer, I'd like to know if the squeezenetwork is required to access streaming sources on the internet (not on the local pc). (The answer is not in the faq.) And if it is required: how long does it take before a 'station' is added?
Yes - it is required. You are given the option in the setup menu to connect to SqueezeNetwork. You can add as many stations as you like to your profile through the SqueezeNetwork web interface.
