The upgrade is done, but we continue to tune for performance.
I'm getting an odd message from SqueezeNetwork (your squeezebox needs
to have its MAC address reset) and I'm not sure if it has to do with
the upgrade in progress or is more serious.
This upgrade includes a check to see if the MAC settings on your
player have gotten corrupted, which has happened to a few people due
to power line glitches and a bug in the firmware.
To reset your MAC address:
- Press and hold the LEFT arrow button on the remote until you are
taken back to the setup menu.
- Scroll down to the View Current Settings item and press RIGHT.
- Scroll to the MAC address item. Press RIGHT.
- Use the remote to adjust the MAC address setting so it matches the
one printed on the bottom of the player. Press RIGHT to leave this
screen when you've fixed the last digit.
- Press LEFT to go back to the main menu and reconnect to
SqueezeNetwork.
