I'm new so be kind. I've had my Squeezebox 3 for about 4 days and am just learning the ropes.
Here is my problem which seems to be limited to URLs from Live365 although people have reported similar problems for other servers on this forum. The problem is that I get the "cannot load the URL" errors very consistently on my Live365 stations after saving as a "Favorite" over the SqueezeNetwork. Here is what works and what doesn't: 1. Do a search of Live365 on SqueezeNetwork for the site and play. It plays fine. 2. Save as a favorite. 3. Go back to SqueezeNetwork Favorites immediately and it fails to play with the "cannot load URL" error. 4. Switch to SlimServer, go to SlimServer Favorites and load the URL and it plays fine. >From this I conclude that this is not Live365 problem. It is not a SlimServer problem. It is a SqueezeNetwork or Squeezebox problem. The URL will play through the Squeezebox when loaded any way but via SqueezeNetwork Favorites and fails most of the time for that condition. You guys have a problem that you need to fix. OTOH, I think the Squeezebox is an engineering marvel if not a miracle. You guys are to be congratulated for developing one of the most intuitive interfaces I have ever encountered. Really, really well thought out. I love it.
