I understand that the box is a few years old but its an Internet device
so is it even technically possible to add the Squeeze Network
capability to this "classic" Slim Device.

I am not going to buy another slim device just to have a new feature
come out 3 months later that I once again missed out on. I guess the
early adopter (although it was a "second gen" device) gets left out of
the new cool features.

Some times technology moves too fast.

If there was a way to do it, I would hope that Slim is not just holding
it back because they just want all the original SqueezeBox owners to
pony up another 300 bones. Then again, I get it, its a business. Its
still frustrating though.
