That's normal. When in one mode (SlimServer or SqueezeNetwork) the other one won't see it.
You can go back to the other in either mode, there's a link to connect to SqueezeNetwork from SlimServer and a link to disconnect from SqueezeNetwork (so going back to SlimServer) in SqueezeNetwork.
