I'm not buying the "blame it on Shoutcast" thread ( http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27093 ). I've noticed that I can't even manually tune in a URL to sky.fm channels straight off their website (aka not through Shoutcast directory service) among others.
If I had to theorize (as most morons like me who know nothing about a problem tend to do ;-) I'd think that Shoutcast servers had been updated to a newer version that is breaking SB or Slimserver somehow. Only servers that haven't updated aren't affected. Again, I'm positive for me at least it's not a Shoutcast directory problem because I'm tuning the direct UNC by IP Address and it's still stalling out.
