Hi, I was just about to buy a new tuner for my HK 970 amplifier when I heard the word about the Squeeze Box. Checking the specs made me feel really hopeful that this box wouldn't just replace a Tuner - but be much more.
Before buying the actual hardware I thought I'd check out how well it worked(or not:-) So, last night I installed Slimserver and SoftSqueeze. Everything went just fine and it looks good. However I do have one major problem. I can't listen to any of the swedish streaming radio channels. If I choose for instance "SR P1" from the SB menu, all I get is "connecting". Some stations do work(none swedish). I'm running Win XP SP2 IE 7 and Windows Media Player 11. I've used Url Snooper to get the stream URL:s - and the urls do work when I use "open url" in media player. I can't open RTSP or MMS urls inside Internet Explorer though. I have realplayer basic installed and the AlienBBC RA plugin. I've tried both MMS(WMA?) and RTSP(RA?) streams with the same result. I've disabled NOD32 AV and turned of my FW.
