Workaround:
You might consider setting up a subscription to your favorite podcasts
using software such as Juice: http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/index.php
Juice will poll your podcast providers, download content and even clean
up older content. It works well.
Have the subscribed content land in a directory under your SlimServer
music directory. Name the directory something like "!!podcasts" so it
is first in the alphabetic list. Use "browse music folders" to view
this directory on your SB. Since the files are now local, you should be
able to FFW & RW.
These files do end up in your library, but I've found that most of the
programs I listen to are tagged reasonably well with usable Artists and
Titles. Once in a while one will pop up in Random Mix, but you can
either just skip that track or come up with a system to exclude by Genre.
