To connect to SqueezeNetwork you need to set two things in networking setup:
- DNS server - gateway You can find both on any computer by going to Start - Programs - Command Prompt - "ipconfig". You may also be able to find these in your router settings. Normally your gateway will be your router. The gateway is a device with your local network on one side and the Internet on the other. In some cases, it may be the address of your modem. The DNS server can also be your router or modem, but these get the information from a server your ISP runs, so it's often a public address. -- Mark Lanctot "It's like, you know, a New Age religion, but with better treble response." - Jon Heal ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32872 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
