That happens to me as well every now and then. When my SB3 is in SS mode and I try to connect to SN using my remote, the displays of the SB says "connecting to squeezenetwork" in lower case letters. After a few seconds the display turns black, unconnected to SN.
But when I push the left cursor key when it says "connecting to squeezenetwork" and I go down one setting to "connecting to laptop" (my SS is installed on my laptop) it connects to SN.
