I think that the point the OP is trying to make is the same issue that
I was exploring when I came across this thread. As has been said, while
it's true that after attempting to connect to a SB via SS and finding
that it's not connected, you can then browse to squeezenetwork.com to
check if it's connected there, but this is not ideal functionality.
Also, even after connecting through SN, it seems you have no way of
switching to SS (although you can switch from SS to SN). This alone is
a great nuisance. This leaves you with then having to then go to your
remote anyway and switching to SN there before going back to your SS
interface to finally be able to do what you wanted to do 4 steps ago.
The ideal of course would be to be able to go to one place and be able
to connect to or at least switch the SB from there without having to go
anywhere else.

Also, it's been said that most of the functionaility of SN is available
on SS, but I think that does not include Rhapsody?
