Actually "showing [you] some attitude" would be something more like
blocking every subnet you've ever logged in from. But we're not going
to.

By the way, we recently switched over to a new system that handles our
playlists, and will soon be switching over the actual servers as well,
which will literally make it impossible for non-subscribers to access
them. I believe it's a first for any webcaster, to have a unified-url
playlist/streaming system that supports this, that is compatible with
all hardware/software players.

Anyways, I'm glad you've enjoyed it will it lasted. We've been well
aware of the situation and have been able to keep track of who has been
doing this, but we really haven't cared to do anything about it until
about 1.5 years ago when we started developing "StreamPoint", our new
stream management suite.

We will still have 128k mp3 streams available on shoutcast, with
commercials of course, and you can add those to your presets. In my
opinion our mp3 streams sound better than our wma or ogg formats. (ogg
formats are provided only to a european cellphone provider we've
partnered with, sorry)
