My Squeezebox 3 does a great job of displaying the "Now Playing" information from the SqueezeNetwork. (My SlimServer PC is in the repair shop waiting for a mobo transplant :-( )
But the SB3 is in the living-room, with the stereo, and I enjoy listening from the bedroom and the sun-room, far from the SB3 display. So I log into the SN web site with my laptop PC (Windows XP and Firefox 2) or with my iPAQ (Windows Mobile 5 and Opera 8.6), where I can adjust the volume and (theoretically) read the channel and track information in the beige-coloured frame at the top right of the web page. However, the "Now Playing" information - channel and track - are seldom accurate in the browser. I have to reload the page two or three times before it updates correctly. I am usually tuned to Radioio Classical or Radioio World - the "Now Playing" behaviour may depend on the way SqueezeNetwork gets its information from the particular radio station. Is there anything I can do in my browser setup to force it to get up-to-date information from the "Now Playing" frame without repeated reloads? - Jeff -- jschall ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jschall's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11127 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34844 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
