This is probably happening because some people is putting their music on a webserver and sideload it to their locker with the firefox-plugin (I have done this). Or they might be sideloading copyrighted material they find on internet. Everything that is sideloaded or webloaded by someone appears on that list. Why sideload and not sync? Pure speculation, but it might be that they have a "Free Locker" and their locker has reached the 1GB-limit, and that they can't sync more.
