Hi all, I got my SB3 today and it works great! I'm happy with it. One big question: Is there a "serverless mode" in the SqueezeBox? As I understood it connects either to a SlimServer or to SqueezeNetwork. But what happens if there is no "SqueezeNetwork-Server" and no local SlimServer available, is the SqueezeBox then useless? For listening Webradio there is no need for a server (apart from the Webradio server), and if the SB had the favorites with the Webradio-URLs internally stored it would be possible to use it without SqueezeNetwork and SlimServer. -Is- this possible?
Just to explain my skepticism: I usually have those nice gadgets for a very long time. Imagine that anytime the SqueezeNetwork-Service may be discontinued. What happens then?
