I tried Pandora when it was a new concept. Subsequently I now subscribe to Rhapsody and like it better.
Why? With Pandora, you generally stick with music you know. With Rhapsody you discover totally new types of music. Rhapsody has songs, albums, channels, playlists, radio stations and genres to fit every mood and taste. You won't discover one percent of the styles of music with Pandora as you do with Rhapsody. For example, I typed into the Rhapsody search the term "workout" recently and came up with several cardio workout albums that I listen to when using my home bike, just like the music at the gym with that uptempo beat to keep you at your highest intensity. I also found great chillout music for background sounds while sleeping. Rhapsody also generates radio stations for every well known artist, exactly like Pandora. Thus with Rhapsody you get what Pandora does plus much much more.
