SN works best with low and consistent pings, as everything other than  
playing audio requires a trip to the server.  If you don't get  
consistent pings you have a poor ISP.  Any ISP that offers a 'fast  
ping' plan sounds shady, though, you should always expect a fast  
ping.  Also you should note we're adding an east coast SN data center  
in the next couple of months.  Check your ping to 66.150.114.119  
(Virginia) vs. 66.151.159.231 (Sunnyvale).
