SN works best with low and consistent pings, as everything other than playing audio requires a trip to the server. If you don't get consistent pings you have a poor ISP. Any ISP that offers a 'fast ping' plan sounds shady, though, you should always expect a fast ping. Also you should note we're adding an east coast SN data center in the next couple of months.
