Yes it can. You need to have the squeezebox connected to your router (wired or wireless), and have it connected to squeeze network. I don't know if SB1 can do this, but with my SB3 it works like a charm... It has the standard staff picks options, but also Rhapsody, Pandorra, MP3Tunes, etc. you can check it out with SoftSqueeze on www.squeezenetwork.com
