I have been streaming music for years (see setup below) so I was quite
(positively) surprised to stumble on the MP3tunes-Squeezebox connection
today. My streaming clients are all UPnP (like my music server Twonky)
so Squeezebox has never been relevant for me (my setup is listed
below).

BUT: If I can store my 40.000 tracks on MP3tunes (200GB) and stream
this to a Squeezebox it really changes the picture! I am tired of doing
backups and fighting with media servers. Furthermore: The Squeezebox
remote lets me see the album art (like on my Arhos 605wifi).

But is it too good to be true? Will it only work with a wired
Squeezebox? And even if it is wired: Does it WORK? Don't the MP3tunes
server ever shut down preventing me from streaming now and then?

Thanks for listnening!
