Well, shows what I know. I relied on "sudo apt-get update" and thought I was up-to-date (probably a metaphor for my life).
Installed the latest (and greatest) using the instructions. Works flawlessly. Wonderful interface! Great new features. I especially appreciate the ease in specifying the music source. In my case it's a 120 GB USB drive, once a bit of a challenge on a Linux system. It even started scanning my collection without my having to ask. Wonderful!
