I'm not at home right now so I can't check things out now, but since the beginning I have a lot of issues with my squeezbox duet :(
I installed everything as discribed, installed squeezecenter (7.0.1) on pc (winxp sp2) and I can browse through my music collection. The duet receiver is connected using Wired ethernet. It's not the right place to complain but here is a list of issues I'm having with my Duet: - Can't connect to Squeezenetwork. I can log in using my computer and browser. My Squeezebox receiver shows in the players list but it says it is n't connected. I can add a player but I need to have the pin. The pin should appear on the remote once I have selected 'Squeezenetwork' under Setting > Sourceds. Unfortunately my Duet remote doesn't offer 'Squeezenetwork' in the sources menu. - When I switched the remote on the second time, it said there was an update available and installed that. Since then I have an "invalid mac address or uuid" error when switching the remote on. All the rest works fine. - The remote doesn't pull the Album art covers from my PC. When I go the Squeezecenter and select the album and push play, the album cover art appears on the duet remote. This means I'll have to 'push' 800 albums to get all the artwork showing on the remote. Once the artwork has appeared on the remote it keeps appearing. I just have to do this once for every album. - The duet doesn't keep playing when selecting a song in an Album. The only way to go a specific song and play the rest of the album is by pushing the next or previous button. When using the scroll wheel and hitting the right upper button (the play button) it plays this song and stops.
