I don't think it is a charset issue. Btw, the favorites are on
Squeezenetwork, not on a Slimserver.
However, I have fiddled with the asx file and edited it until it
works.

So it seems that the Squeezenetwork or SB software has a problem with
parsing asx files. Is this a bug that should be reported?
For most of the stations I can just extract the actual media url, but I
have a stations that plays the latest hourly news, and it that asx file
the media url is not constant, so the problem is a real issue.
