I have a similar problem to that of the first poster: All music, no matter what source, fires up for 2 or so secs (or an internet stream buffers to 100%) and then stops and returns to the beginning.
SqueezeCenter recognizes SqBox, and all network parameters check out ok (mac address, IP address etc). Both displays, on the host and on the SQBox register as playing the piece, but with no sound and elapsed timer stuck at zero. Eventually the track moves to the next in the playlist. But SqC on the host appears to be restarting the stream continually. I've cleared and/or dropped all firewall protection for PERL on TCP port 9000 on localhost, rebooted, reinstalled all to no avail. Before 7.2 update it was working fine. Nothing is written to the SqC server log.
