I prefer Slacker over Pandora, too. Like you say, you have finer control over the stations you create. Pandora seems to have less variety... after a while the same songs come up over and over. But I have so much local music I am still trying to get rated, that I don't use either of them often unless my server is down for some reason.
Thanks for the tip on kids music. I will have to remember to turn on Slacker the next time my 2 YO niece is visiting. She loves to dance! Edit: Can you share stations on Slacker?
