In my opinion the most likely cause of this system failure is a
software/hardware failure within the SqueezeNetwork server. 

If anyone at Logitech is paying attention to this user forum, I'd like
to further suggest the following:

1) The operating status of the SqueezeNetwork software/hardware should
be easily obtained by anyone logged in to SqueezeNetwork. There should
be a prominent "System Status" button;

2) All registered Squeezebox radio owners should have the ability to
receive email notices of the system status so that we're not left
guessing;

3) Logitech personnel should be monitoring the operating status of
SqueezeNetwork 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and

4) Any Squeezebox radio updates (firmware and software etc) should be
announced on and directly downloadable from the SqueezeNetwork website.
