Sorry but you did ask: Buy your own CDs and rip them to a hard drive. Only buy MP3s from Amazon and Google (or others that don't use DRM). Move to a country that doesn't try to brainwash you into thinking that DRM is somehow required! It is not. Last and this is not easy but can be done, search the web for how to burn all you DRM tunes to CD-R then rip them back to your hard drive.
