Connecting directly to SN means no need for a computer on your end. SC uses SN in the background for some Internet Radio usage and all Music services. Have you entered your SN login info into SC7 > Settings > SqueezeNetwork? SC7 will do any of the SN functions plus a few added features. SN is a remote server so it cannot see your local music. You can get an MP3Tunes account, upload all of your MP3's, then have access to them from SN or any other device that can access MP3Tunes. Clock: SC uses your computers clock. SN uses clock setting you select on the SN UI (SN > Players > Settings > General > Timezone).
