Thanks for that, at the moment everything is streaming fine including last.fm. I wonder if its just at peak times but its strange because even when I have issues with Squeezenetwork and last.fm I can get a direct connection ok.
The buffer size didn't seem to make a great difference. I'll see how it goes.
