The BBC detect whether the listener is in the UK or not. Unfortunately Squeezenetwork is not in UK (US or Germany I think) and so BBC thinks listener is not in the UK.
There used to be a SN workaround for this but I think recently changes in BBC may have broken the workaround. If you use a real R5Live URL and not the ASX playlist - it might work.
