Hi, I am new here and new to the whole Squeezething and am pretty happy so far with my new squeezecenter. I am running Version: 7.3.3 - 27044 on Linux server.
My only problem so far is, that not all cover arts are shown. My collection with 20000 files has covers with different file names (all jpg) in each album folder. All files of an album have the same tag for the front image. Sometimes SC doesnt show a lot of these covers. In some cases, SC shows some songs of an Album with correct covers and some without in the same album. It is all tagged equal!. I tried deleting and creating new files, tried calling it folder.jpg. Tried looking for changed musik after mad changes. Some work, some not. I use Mediamonkey for id3-tagging and it shows the covers. So toagging seems to be correvt. The only thing that works for me is : 1. untag all cover-information 2. place file called folder.jpg 3. create library and rescan everything - looking for changes wont show. This "solution" isnt nice, cause I would have to delete from 1600 album cover info and replace the cover file by folder.jpg. Any Ideas? Question is : 1.How to use covers correct? 2.What to do when I changed some covers? Scan for Changes? Total rebuild database? I am glad for any advise.
