I use Napster a lot and haven't experienced the kind of buffering issues you mention except on a very occasional basis when there's been a problem with the service. It may be worth trying again to see if it is a consistent problem for you - and if it is, trying to troubleshoot from the SB side, before ruling it out completeley. I should say that I only access Napster via Squeezecenter (i.e. with a computer running). If you are using a SB connected to Squeezenetwork, then your experience might be different.
Spotify is aces, but you need to have a computer running and can only control it from the computer, not from your Squeezebox.
