I got the Controller out of the equation. I got power saving out of the equation: 2 SBS running full-time on the LAN. I got my switching script out of the equation.
1 SBS has an SB Classic playing. 1 SBS has Boom + SBClassic playing. From the SBS UI I select mySB as music source, for each player. When both are on mySB I wait a bit and hit the Disconnect button on the web UI for each. The Classic comes back home. The Boom reconnects to the other server. When the disconnect is done from an SBS UI, the Boom lands in the expected location. Also, the drop-down player menus of the 2 SBS are confusing: - Status updates from mySB are too long, I think I've waited 3 minutes at times to see duplicate entries get corrected. - When sending the Boom to mySB, its entry in the menu of the sending SBS moves under "mySB" -and also- under the player list of the other SBS. Someone else with 2 servers and a Boom seeing this ? -- epoch1970 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68929 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
