First, see this bug: https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14368 Are you using a Duet? If so, keep in mind that the Receiver and the Controller are not necessarily going to be on the same WiFi AP. Problems that impact one, might not impact the other... With this in mind, if your Controller is losing connection, it would actually not directly impact your Receiver (the actual audio playback device). In short though, there is no way to force the player to a specific AP unless you re-name one of them so that you have two SSIDs.
