But if you use > JSON (I still don't know where you're sending this command... on > mysb.com?) to do a "connect" back to SBS, all is fine? First of all: *I run SC 7.3.4. with firmwares from 7.4.1 for my players.* Second, using disconnect via the CLI on SC started to fail regularly. The failure is that the player switches back and operates ok, but it still appears as present on mySB.com, and cannot be disconnected until reconnected. So the disconnect works but is not registered, somehow. Now I use: a) CLI to the local server to connect to the Internet before sleeping the local server, b) Json to www.squeezenetwork.com, with order to "connect <player-id> <lan-ip-of-SC>" and it works. Well, give me 10 days of server sleep/wake cycles and I'll be completely positive it does.
I am not talking of a transient phenomenon. SC/SBS always sees a player at 2 places at the same time upon connect/disconnect, in my experience "serverstatus" via the CLI gives confused results for 1 to 3 minutes (3 mins with SBS 7.4 upon which I gave up). But in this case we are talking of a player sticking to mysb.com for many hours (according to my log files), during which I could still operate it normally on SC. When I saw there was a problem indeed, and that rebooting the server machine was no fix, I went on to investigate on mySB.com. I saw the player was supposedly connected there, when it was not. Hitting the disconnect button on mySB did not work, until I brought the player back to mySB.com, where the disconnect button finally worked. -- epoch1970 Daily dose delivered by: 2 SB Classic (fw 130), 1 SB Boom (fw 50) SqueezeCenter 7.3.4 (Debian 5.0) with plugins: ContextMenu, SaverSwitcher by Peter Watkins Server Power Control by Gordon Harris WeatherTime by Martin Rehfeld IRBlaster by Gwendesign (Felix) FindArt, CDplayer by bpa BBC iPlayer, SwitchPlayer by Triode PowerSave by Jason Holtzapple TrackStat by Erland Isaksson. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74667
