Hello. Last night I decided to change my Rhapsody subscription service from the "To-Go" account to the new (and cheaper) "Premier" account.
Since then, I've been experiencing at Random intervals the following error in my SqueezeBox Duet Controller: "Unable to authenticate user..." This happens when trying to stream a specific song. But the thing is that if I leave for a while and I come back, it will work again for a while, and then if I pause for a moment and resume a bit later, the error emerges again, making the whole experience very frustrating. I have contacted Rhapsody support and they basically don't know what can be going on. I googled this problem and I found the following: >>> I contacted Rhapsody support. They advised me to delete my Rhapsody >>> account from the SqueezeNetwork Accounts page, and re-add it. They >>> reported that the error was likely caused by a duplicate Rhapsody >>> account under the same email address as the SqueezeNetwork account. >>> It was a free, Comcast Rhapsody radio account. Rhapsody deleted the >>> free radio account. I was told that the SqueezeNetwork might have been >>> looking for a paid subscription under the free radio account. The >>> Comcast radio account has been in existance since 2006, so it is >>> undetermined as to why this error surfaced today. In any case, >>> deleting and re-adding the Rhapsody account via the SqueezeNetwork >>> accounts page worked. >There are some account-related edge cases like this that we don't >correctly handle at the moment. I hope to fix this in the next >version of SN. Is there anything you guys know that might be causing this and the fix for it? -- rdelfin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rdelfin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33043 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76877 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
