Not sure what a "complete restart" is. Have your tried a factory reset? Go to Settings->Advanced->Restore Factory Settings and choose Continue. Since you're using WEP, I would also make sure you're entering in hexidecimal. For example, if you WEP passphrase is 1234, you need to enter in 31323334. Search on the web for "wep to hex". Also ... do you know what version of firmware is on your Squeezebox?
