Hi Toby, Thanks for that suggestion. That was not the problem as it turned out, because the screen brightness setting was okay. However, your thought caused me to experiment a bit. As it turns out, I will have a blank screen after connecting to MySB until I hit the "favorites' button on the remote, at which point my My SB favorites come right up and I am back in business with all functioning properly.
I don't really understand this, as the player used to pop right up at the MySB home menu, however I can live with this quirk as I can now get the music playing. Merry Christmas by the way!
